The Following are testimonies of people who
been touched by the ministry of Shanan:

In 1992, we visited the former Soviet Union just after the Communist
regime had crumbled. We were privileged to be one of the first
contacts people had with the West and were able to share Jesus to
people who had never heard the gospel before.

Boris and Larissa Shein, who wrote the following letter are dynamic
ministers today, having a ministry of deliverance in Russia, as well as
their children, who are serving the Lord. Boris taught himself English
so bear with the grammatical errors and see the heart of the message!

Dearest Artie and Lisa,
We are excited to know that you are restored Shanan Ministry, which was
great blessing for us for the very beginning of our Christian life. We repented
in 1993 after corrupting the Communist Government in former USSR and first
missionaries from USA came to Russia .

My wife Larisa, me, our son Sacha 16 years old and daughter Lena 12 years
old didn’t know God before. First missionary team, (Artie and Lisa were with
them) came to our home city Sochi and visited the school, where learned
Sacha. God touched him very much and he repented. He started visit the
church almost every night.

Larisa started interested about the church and joined the church together with
daughter. Later I joined the church too. We were involved in a church activity
very much from the very beginning.

We are very grateful to Artie & Lisa who made great job in our church helping
establish children and youth ministry. We didn’t know about it before. Many
teenagers were involved in this ministry, thanks to the hot hearts of Artie and
Lisa. Our teens loved them, because they were excellent example of a
Christian minister.  They brought a lot of different stuff for children ministry
and teach how it applies. They built good team for children ministry, which
worked successfully later.

Artie & Lisa saw God’s calling upon a life of our son and blessed him on a
leader’s position in youth ministry in our church. We are very grateful to them
for their love to our son. He needs it and he follows Jesus till now. He
completed one year Disciple Training School in USA , two years Bible School
in Germany and joined to German Missionary team in our home town, as
teacher. He is the pastor of Calvary Chapel Church in Moscow now. He is
married and has two kids. He is excellent father and husband.

Our daughter was involved in children ministry in our home church, till she
graduated College Of Art and was invited in the Bible School in Germany .
She was very successful student and after two years of study she was invited
for full time ministry in this school, which never happens before in this school.
Normally they invited for ministry after third year of study and just student from
European countries who paid their study. Lena studied for scholarship, among
very few students from former communist countries.

She married for American student, who studied in the same course. They were
full time ministers in the Bible School .   

We were actively involved in the church ministry and after 7 years God called
us for mission ministry for the former USSR republics: from the West to the
East. God attracted us in the Caucasus region, where very strong Muslim
influence. We work with local churches many years. We made 54 mission trips
and ministered personally by counseling for hundreds people. We see God’s
healing and deliverance miracle in the life of many people.

We are very happy and grateful to God that many years ago He put in the
heart of Artie and Lisa desire to visit Russia and saw good seeds, which
produced wonderful crops in His Kingdom.

This organization molded me into the solid man that I
am today. I don't think I would of survived life's
struggles without the help of Artie and Camp
Shanan's ministries. Thank you for watching me
grow in front of your eyes and hearts.

express how much I appreciate your ministry... I truly
looked forward to Shanan every year. I gained so

some teens came to visit our area and they
